Description: This bright green maturing to bright red, 3-4 inch long and 1½ inch diameter wrinkled pepper has a crisp, sweet pepper flavor with a hint of heat. Although a sweet pepper it can be a little hot and an occasional pepper can be very hot. Hot and dry growing conditions may cause some of the peppers to be spicier and more pungent. This small Japanese thin walled pepper is ideal for tempura, stir fries, grilled or simply sautéed in a little oil.
