Description:

An attractive compact variety that provides an abundance of large, puffy, conical white flowers at the ends of the branches over an extended period; flowers start out white and mature to pink towards fall; benefits from a regular pruning regimen

Ornamental Features

Puffer Fish® Hydrangea features bold conical white flowers at the ends of the branches from early summer to early fall, which emerge from distinctive chartreuse flower buds. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has green deciduous foliage. The serrated pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.

Landscape Attributes

Puffer Fish® Hydrangea is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a mounded form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage.

This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It has no significant negative characteristics.
